Dogon Group Properties

The Group’s focus is on high-end properties along the Atlantic Seaboard and in the sought-after mountainside suburbs of southern Cape Town, offering discerning buyers and sellers Dogon’s unique concierge-style approach to property. It’s a passion for both property and people that has driven Denise Dogon since she first joined the industry in 1975; a passion for transforming lives through real estate.

May 2016 saw DGP close the deal on a property valued at a staggering R290-million: the sale of the seven-bedroom mansion on 5000-square-metres of prime real estate above Cape Town’s glamorous Bantry Bay and Clifton seaboard marked the highest price ever achieved for a property in Africa.

While the focus of DGP remains luxury properties aimed at high-net-worth individuals, in 2011 the group evolved further with a change in ownership structure that brought Rob Stefanutto on board as Managing Director and shareholder.

After achieving enormous success in Cape Town’s trendy De Waterkant precinct with the Mirage development, winner of the 2016 South African Property Owners Association (SAPOA) Award for Mixed Use Developments, DGP has established itself as a boutique consultancy for developers; helping the industry to refine development plans and tailor projects precisely to the needs of the market.

That success in developing and selling for the buy-to-let market also dovetails neatly with DGP’s successful rental office, which manages both short- and long-term leases for high-end rental properties. But whether it’s multi-million-rand properties or six-figure apartments, key to the ongoing success of Dogon Group Properties has been the commitment to service, regardless of price point.

Their ethos and commitment has seen Dogon Group Properties post record-breaking sales figures over the past five years, outselling many national estate agency brands.
