With its sophisticated, eclectic interiors – a mix of contemporary and antique, local and imported furniture – Makaron at Majeka House provides the perfect backdrop for a new era of accessible, ‘bistro chic’ food that is rustic, authentic and modern.

Along with recently appointed head chef Lucas Carstens and sommelier Brenda Karamba, the owners of Majeka House & Spa are working in close collaboration with master consultant chef Pete Goffe-Wood to bring an inviting, and altogether more approachable, direction to dining in the heart of the Cape Winelands.

Pete Goffe-Wood brings years of first-hand kitchen experience and a wealth of restaurant-industry knowledge to his new consultant role at Makaron.

Makaron is situated at 26-32 Houtkapper Street, Paradyskloof, Stellenbosch. Served daily, A 'Makaron Lite’ Menu is available from 11:00 until 21:30 whilst Dinner is served from 18:30 until 21:00.
